Introducing version numbers and license numbers!
Are you developing course timelines and improving them all the time? Are you losing track of your material, and have you come up with all sorts of ways to remember which version you are editing? Well, enough of that! We’re introducing official version numbers for course timelines
And it gets better! We are also introducing license numbers that make it possible to track your course timelines. Yes, we're excited too!
Introducing version numbers and license numbers!
Simply go to the course timeline editor and choose “Course timeline settings,” and you’ll see the version number field. Version numbers will never be shown to your participants but as a coach or manager, you will see them here:
You can use any versioning scheme you like: use 1.1, 1.2, etc or a reversed date might work for you, like 20290515. If you want to keep a log of updates, you can add them to the notes under the version number field.

Recently, we launched the Content Store. If you pay it a visit in the library of any LearningStone groupspace, you can click on "info" to see a license number. License numbers are useful if you plan to distribute your course timelines to other workspaces and want to keep track of the usage, e.g. to get paid for your content. This feature is still in development but the license numbers are available. If you are interested in testing it, we would love to hear from you.
