Completion checkmarks!
Do you use LearningStone to support training or coaching? If so, you probably already work with LearningStone progress markers. These nifty little questions that are attached to training or coaching content, are collected in a progress reports along with the results of forms, surveys, quizzes and tests. Now we’ve added something even better: completion checkmarks.
All you have to do is turn this new function on and your trainees and coachees will have a much better sense of where they are and what still needs to be done. Check, check, check!

This is how it works: first you organize your material in a LearningStone course timeline which is a string of modules or blocks as we call them. Add a few sections and add blocks to each section. Then add a progress marker to one or more blocks. For example: if you had a video, you might add a short question (that’s the progress marker) “What was the main point of this video?”.
When a participant answers this question, it shows up in the progress report. So far, nothing new.

Now, let’s say you have a couple of sections, each with a few blocks. Now turn on “Show checkmarks next to completed sections” in the Content in the course timeline editor and see what happens!
Note the numbers in the illustration.
It’s all pretty much automatic though you might want to turn some parts off in the table of contents. For example if you have some decorative images, these don’t need to be shown in the table of contents.
