Terms for training courses & workshops

The following terms apply when LearningStone is offering training courses or workshops. If you are following a course provided by partners or users of LearningStone, other terms will apply.

- For the use of LearningStone, the general Terms of Service apply.

- Professional Services like custom development and design or consultancy are offered under the LearningStone Terms for Professional Services.

 - LearningStone is a registered trade mark.
- If a translated version of this agreement is different from or conflicts with the English version, this English version controls.
- These conditions may be changed in the future. Please check back here regularly.

1. Reservation:

We expressly reserve the right to make changes to the content, structure of the course programme, duration and costs of courses. This also applies to any errors.

2. Registration

Registration for a course is possible by sending your details via the digital registration form or by sending an e-mail.

3. Course dates and locations

The start of the course on the course dates and location for which you register is subject to sufficient participation. In case of insufficient or too many registrations for certain courses/course dates, we reserve the right to cancel course dates or to split, merge and/or move groups of registered participants to other dates and/or another location. You will be informed of this in good time. If the replacement course dates and/or location offered by us do not suit you, we will look for a suitable alternative in consultation with you. If no suitable alternative is found, LearningStone will not charge any costs.

4. Cancellation

You can cancel your registration free of charge up to four weeks before the start date of the course for which you have registered. For cancellations in the third or fourth week before the start of the course, 50% of the full course fee will be charged. If you cancel later, you will be required to pay the full course fee. If you are unable to attend the course yourself, a substitute may of course attend. No later than two weeks before the start of the course, for which you have registered, you will be notified of the date, time and location. Cancellation after the start of the course is not possible.

5. Invoicing

The invoice is sent by LearningStone two weeks before the start of the course and must be paid within two weeks after the date of the course.

6. Copyright

At the end of a course, the course material becomes the property of the student insofar as it is easily transferable. LearningStone owns the copyright on the learning materials it compiles and provides. The learning materials are exclusively intended for the participants in the courses of LearningStone. Subject to the exceptions provided by law, no part of these teaching materials may be reproduced and/or made public without written permission from LearningStone.

7. Privacy

The information you provide will be treated confidentially and included in our electronic and physical course administration. The data is only accessible to employees involved with LearningStone. You can always request insight into this data. The data will never be provided to third parties.

8. Others

- These conditions replace any previous version.

- These conditions shall continue to apply even if one or more articles have not previously been ratified or have not been ratified consistently.
