New: completion checkmarks

First add blocks, then progress markers

This is how it works: first you organize your material in a LearningStone course timeline which is a string of modules or blocks as we call them. Add a few sections and add blocks to each section. Then add a progress marker to one or more blocks. For example: if you had a video, you might add a short question (that’s the progress marker) “What was the main point of this video?”.
When a participant answers this question, it shows up in the progress report. So far, nothing new.

Show completion checkmarks 

Now, let’s say you have a couple of sections, each with a few blocks. Now turn on “Show checkmarks next to completed sections” in the Content in the course timeline editor and see what happens! 

Note the numbers in the illustration.

1. A vertical line appears with checkmarks for completed sections.  “Completed” means that either the content has been seen (at least scrolled down to the bottom) and all progress markers and forms, tests and quizzes have been done. When it is partially complete, the circle turns light green.
   Try clicking on the little circle where the checkmark will appear and you’ll see what is needed to complete the section.
2. The new table of contents shows the completion checkmarks as well.
3. The redesigned horizontal bar shows the completed sections as well, if you choose to turn this on. And everything is clickable!

It’s all pretty much automatic though you might want to turn some parts off in the table of contents. For example if you have some decorative images, these don’t need to be shown in the table of contents.
